Entrepreneurs face unique challenges raising capital and building companies, challenges that can be compounded in Alaska, with its limited pool of investors and geographic separation from the rest of the United States.

At the same time, however, Alaska has long “punched above its weight” when it comes to the creativity, commitment, and talent in its business and professional communities.

To open up additional funding sources for Alaska’s entrepreneurs, and provide Alaskan women professionals with opportunities to invest and advance their board careers at home in Alaska and in the lower 48, Andrea Canfield (Partner, Stoel Rives), Christina Gamache (Owner, Audax Wealth Management), Jennie Morawetz (Partner, Kirkland & Ellis), and Sarah Schirack (Counsel, Perkins Coie) invite all Alaska women entrepreneurs, executives, investors (and their friends) to join us for an introduction to The Fourth Effect, a SaaS platform connecting startups and growth-stage companies to women advisors, directors and funders throughout the United States and globally.

The evening will also include wine and hors d’oeuvres, and a chance to catch up with old friends and make new friends.
