Board Boot Camp

Want to get on a board but wondering how? Where can you find board opportunities? How do you position yourself for the right fit? And how do you get the requisite board experience if you can't get on a board to get it? Learn how you can break the "chicken and the egg" conundrum.

Founders, ever wonder how to find and tap into the right networks that can help you scale and fundraise? Learn how you can build your advisory and governing boards so that they can save and raise you money, as well as, so many other benefits.

Join us on a journey to dispel the myths behind getting to the illusive "Boardroom" and learn how to structure your own ideal board.

We will dig into understanding the board landscape and how to find your opportunities, whether you are looking for your seat at the table or building your own table.

  • Executives: Learn about the variety of company boards, how to think about your ideal seat and how to get there.

  • Founders: Learn how to structure your ideal company board and how to find the right candidates to fill those seats.

As part of this program, you will receive templates and brainstorming documents that will set you up to pitch yourself or company effectively.

You will learn from expert Debra Boggs on how to position yourself best as a board candidate and hear from our amazing panelists Shelly Lombard, Nancy Ahola, and Susan Sierota about how they have leveraged their experience to grow their careers and companies.

We will end with a fun and productive networking session. Please have an intro of no more than 1-2 minutes ready to share. Make sure you hit on your "Super Powers". Your next board opportunity or advisor just might be on this call.

We will be taking some screenshots for promotional material. We will announce it so feel free to turn off your video if you are not comfortable being included.

Looking forward to seeing you then!
